Bilal is Founder and CEO of social impact incubator ERA Professionals based in Dubai, UAE. He was most recently VP Partnerships for Saudi EdTech startup Noon Academy, an online private tutoring platform in the Middle East and South Asia. He has previously been VP for Global Strategy and Business Development for Edmodo, a Silicon Valley venture backed learning management system acquired by Netdragon Websoft in 2018. Bilal was part of the founding team and served as Head of Internationalization for Khan Academy. He has experience in both education and finance with a career that began as an Actuarial Analyst in1994.
Bilal has an MBA and MA in Education from Stanford University and a BS in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce RSA.
